i had to take a break from the blog. but i'm back.
since diagnosis, i've learned that some people are just wonderful. so many folks have helped me, it's mind blowing.
i was ready to get settled into nice warm spring weather , but that is on hold for a few days.. april & may will be really nice this year, last year i was a spooled up about retiring, which set off the dang cancer.
i 've been trying to relax, and stay in the present,, no futuristic plans to stress me out .. i'm ready to start doing 20 plus gigs a month again
my life is really nice right now,, this will be a much better summer than last year , but i will be working, and not just laying in the yard , turning orange

i got a bit off center
my mind is getting much better. finally
i must apologize to any one who i may have hurt with my opinions about cancer treatment. i posted a lot of unqualified thoughts,, my opinions.
i started the blog to get this stuff out of my head and so people could keep up with what i was going through..
i certainly didn't want to make any one feel bad, or scare somebody with my thoughts.
so i feel very good, it's got to be the diet and all the positive vibes from everyone. thank you
" you can feel real good, and have a shit load of cancer in you " .. this was told to me from a cancer survivor, .

i just got it sent to me yesterday , i wish i found this one back in july ,, no problem,, i am super OK !!
last nights show was at the Elks in Robinson Ill.. another sold out big room.. fantastic positive energy... the show biz high was huge .
i got to chat with some people about what i am doing , they were amazed,, as in , didn't know anything about food stopping cancer.
i am feeling so alive ,,

imagine if my tumor did get this big ,, holy crap...
i was at costco getting carrots, and just had to size up this little beauty..
if i have any cancer issues in the future i will have to blame the PET scan,, that dang thing was even worse than i originally thought... if you know anyone who might be scheduled for one of these , make sure they look up what they are in for.. i was warned, but didn't research it enough...
check it out biopsy day , june 22nd .
still have not swapped diet , and now i'm waiting for results about this

winner winner chiken dinner
try this, think of the best you've ever felt.. was it for seconds , or minutes? maybe it was years... was it from "winning" something? or just an accomplishment ?? sit back,, take a few seconds and really think - what is the best you've ever felt ? maybe it was another person. what ever it might be,, try to get "there" now. to that happy place , it's there waiting...............relax.. really think
ok , that feels good, add a few nice slow deep breaths,, bingo
as you searched for the best you ever felt , many nice memories popped up. like the tops of mountains, these happy moments / feelings are always available.
last night , the positive energy from the crowd was just mind blowing.. this show ..
it's an easy gig if you are in a show with Dave "the king " Wilson,, so the place was packed.
anyway.. what i am trying to say is that i have been dancing on happy mountain tops since March.
if i have some nice calm breathing, this power full smile starts to take over my whole face. if i flip my mind from july to now , back n forth, like a thick book, it makes me laugh to know i wasted so much thought and energy on doom & gloom from the cancer. i instantly started feeling better ( with the diet fine tuning) , so my whole battle was mental,,and a mental battle for me can be quite involved .. and now it's all getting kinda funny
i wish someone handed me a slip of paper that said , -- eat all of this , and in 9 months you'll be in the best health ever , don't worry about it ,, maybe if Mr Fong would have made me a special fortune cookie,
i guess to sum up , i feel like i've won the Indy 500, and it's starting to soak in
keep sending the good vibes,, if my cancer battle was a show car, we'd be wet sanding it... all that's left is the buffing
and to my Hungarian friends - egeszseges napot kivanok!

get out the party hats
i'm no doctor, i'm doing this to myself, to myself
sorry about the gap in blogs, i wanted to let all those ha ha-s get loose
8 month re-cap...........
first , i feel great.. people say i look good too
2nd. the mind bending never ending horrible cancer thoughts are starting to diminish....
even though i know i've got it beat , there is still a small lump on my neck. way smaller than biopsy time. you can't see it unless you know exactly where it is.. last May when my lump was this big , i wasn't even worried about it yet.
i saved at least $250,000- 400,000 in medical bills by doing what i've done. and my plan is very tasty
sometimes i just want to punch a representative of the cancer industry in the dag gone face. not from me, but for all the people who get into treatment that is going to make them worse.. i made it , so i'm good ,, no regrets here
if i die from cancer, ever , i will be shocked.. i'd bet on a lightning strike getting me way before "cancer" kills me..
i'd love to run into the doctor somewhere where he wasn't at the cancer center , and i wasn't at work,, so we were both "off the clock" .. i'd like to calmly ask him - "do you even wonder how i did it ? "
my life is the best it's ever been,, it's wacky , ya get cancer,, ooooooooooooooo,, spooky, scary stuff,, everything seems grim to horrible. for me , the answer, is proper foods and vitamins.. holy crap. and almost instantly i felt way better
my blood test came back with good results, i really am healthy
i use to hate reading,, now i kind of like it, thanks cancer!
there is a bunch of loving people out there who are cheering me on, and lifting me up ,, thanks cancer !!
i feel like i'm 18 again,, thanks cancer !!!
and now ! - ( to me ). i've beat cancer
still might have some, but it's not an issue. this is MY opinion, i am no doctor
the first 6 months were tough, month 7 was a good turn-around month. february was hee-larious!!!! to me anyway.. when the december grapefruit was a pea size lump, i knew i was way up on my battle ,, but since the doc was wrong , maybe he was wrong about the time line too. that's how the funky cancer what if's work.. so in january, my "grave condition" month didn't happen, i knew i was doing great. no complete cancer take over of my upper body, hilarious. then february - " you'll basically be done" month.. i didn't even feel bad.., i feel great.
march 5th ,, wow . two thumbs up. GIANT smile on my face.
if i could split screen my mind from last august / to now,, what a difference.
so thank you !! for wishing me well - it worked.
now we need to let people know that even in what seems to be the worst thing ever, can be the spring board to wellness and a much better life..
now , i did none of these , so this is speculation
here's a few good what if's...
**what if i did sign up for treatment, and the feeding tube got infected,
***what if i lost more weight than planned, and my radiation mask was loose - making each treatment hit the wrong spot
** what if the chemo did get me "this close to death" and i got that flu in october - like i did
** what if my fillings did 'boil' out of my teeth. bummer
** what if the tonsillectomy went bad
whew,, pretty close..
